It was a chilly morning to capture this family but a fun time anyway. Precious girl didn’t give up any smiles while we were shooting but our break inside to play with my older kids elicited her glorious smile (little stinker)! We had fun and got some great shots anyway. Fall is a lovely time to take photos-family, seniors, babies, whomever!
My sweet friend had her second baby almost 3 weeks ago! I had the immense pleasure and honor of photographing life with them a few times. Here are some of my favorites from the times I visited and took life shots. We also had a cool evening so I was able to do some nice shots outside too!
Batman is big brother!
My oldest is going to be 8 in just over a week. The time with her has flown by and we have laughed, cried, argued, and mostly loved! She is an incredible person with an imagination out of this world. She LOVES to read and is coming along with her violin work. I hope you enjoy viewing these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Graduation can be fun. This one was a whole new adventure. To begin with, we didn’t start this graduate at the beginning of school but borrowed her for the year from Spain as an exchange student. The experience greatly enriched our lives and we have learned so much about our own lives and world and hers as well. We are grateful for this opportunity. This particular graduation day was also met with torrential downpours as we walked from our car to the amphitheater where the ceremony was to take place. I carried our 3 1/2 yr old, camera bag, purse complete with emergency bag for said 3 1/2 yr old through the rains as I kept an eye on my husband who was helping our 5 1/2 yr old and the graduate who was helping our almost 8 yr old. We were completely drenched by the time we trudged up the million stairs to the seating and finally sat down. We were shivering from muscle exhaustion and cold from the rain. We sat for an hour before the ceremony started but the little kids did amazingly well. The skies finally cleared and sun came out by the time the ceremony finished. Here are some photos I caught to remember the day…fondly!
Tomorrow, I get the pleasure of attending and photographing the second annual Miracle Milk Stroll in Oakland County, MI! We will be raising awareness and money for the NEC Society via Best for Babes. NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis) is a serious issue for premature babies and human milk can help save the lives of fragile babies. Please consider donating, attending, spreading the word! This is the link to the facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/416247295202151/ and you can register or donate through First Giving at http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/KendraRogers/2nd-annual-miracle-milk-stroll I will be posting photos from tomorrow’s event here as well but here are a few from last year!
Thank you for helping!
A boy’s first kiss should his mother! This mother is teaching this boy what kind of woman he will one day want to be the mother of his own children ❤
This boy is such a pleasure to know! Capturing his laughter and personality on camera (film) is a joy!
